Anti lock brake system

I figure I will give this a shot in the near future...Anyone heard of them before?

They didn't say any thing about the tires locking or not locking in their test results.
Even with ABS you still get locking, it happens quick but you still get it.

there probley a good thing if they are working right , this might not be a good comparason , but my abs on my 02 chevy are fooked up , they are working on dry roads when u come to a stop sometimes , all this electronics there developeing i wonder about sometimes , just saying ,

There is a recall on some of the front ABS systems on Chevy trucks, I don't know if your truck is included, I think mine was but it was taken care of before I bought it. There is something wrong with one of the front wheel sensors. I don't remember what they do to fix it , but you want to check into it anyway.

i looked that recall up and it seems the fix don't fix it , they have a call number for the lemon law there , i signed up and will talk to a lawyer when they call and see what they can do about this problem , if they want money to start anything there sol ,

looked up a few sites and they say cleaning the sensors in the wheels will make them work right , and unplugging the abs fuse tell u can get this fixed will help , anybody have a opion on this ,

Bill you can disable the abs. Just pull the fuse under the hood. Won't hurt nothing, your abs light on the dash will shine all the time though.

Alot of the EBCM (electronic brake control modual) went bad on the earlier models 99-02. They would make a growling noise all the time. The EBCM cost around 800 bucks installed. So most would just have us pull the fuse.
