Got out my hammer
and dolly this afternoon. I haven't done any real body work in 20 years, but I pulled the front fender off the X and hammered most of the dent out. I ground the paint off where it needed to be and put a thin coat of fiber glass on it. I'll let it harden till tomorrow and sand it down and prime it. I have a guy at school that is a very good painter that is going to shoot it for me. Tuesday through Thursday it looks like the sun is going to make an appearance so I think once it's in primer I'll put it back on and ride till the weather goes south again. This is the last remnant of the fall that needed repaired. Thanks to Bruce I have the rear brakes working again.

marang wrote:So what was wrong with the brakes?
The spring clip on top of the caliper was fooked up and the pads were on a bind.
