Interesting day.

Post by trip on December 28th 2009, 7:17 pm

My 24 year old addopted daughter asked me if I could help her meet her bio. family. She had no idea who they were, where they were or how to find them. She didn't know it but her grandfather and I are friends. At 8am this morning I made a phone call and set it up for her to meet her grandfather at a restrant at noon. She came home 8 hours later and had met both grand pairents, her mother, two sisters and one of two brothers. This has been an interesting day.

Wow, Trip, hope that it all works out. I can't imagine the curiosity that an adopted person feels about their natural family. You are a good man for doing what you did. Please keep us updated.

Eric

I know there had to be mixed emotions on your part. I think you did the right thing. She knows who her real family is.
