BACA Awareness

Post by Simpleman77 on June 5th 2011, 4:34 pm

Had a great, if not extremely hot day with my BACA family today. Rode out to the Webster Flea Market very early. They have a monthly car & bike swap meet and show. We were comped two spaces there, set up our tents, merchandise and video/audio equipment and proceeded to let people know who we are. Walked the grounds several times, handing out brochures and talking to people. Most were fairly receptive, some willing to give money without anything in return and alot bought shirts and patches. Actually had one guy tell me that he enjoyed abusing children "haha". He thought the joke was funny. I wanted to offer to shove a knife into his chest but refrained as good will is our mission. Had a good ride home but, again, sweltering especially at the stop lights.

Hope y'all got to ride this weekend as well. Thumbs Up

You just can't fix stupid. How hot has it been? We're heading to P'cola june 14-20th. We have a campsite at Fort Pickens for a week. But if it's over 100 everyday................ might have to look at alternatives.

it might be he has never seen an abused child or even realizes how big the issue is. Obviously he thought that comment was funny. Poor decision to make that kind of comment to a BACA member thats for sure. You did the right thing by not sticking him with a knife.... Laughing

Because BACA has to work with Gov't agencies, we can't afford to be seen as "law breakers" or thugs. In a case like this, we simply state our Mission Statement:

...We do not condone the use of violence or physical force in any manner....

Then we take our Colors off.....

and do whatever comes natural. gun
