Pensacola

Post by Psalmist on June 16th 2011, 9:44 am

We got a rainy day so the family is 'enjoying' a trip to the puiblic library. Hope y'all are having a great day. We caught a bunch of hermit crabs and goldfish yesterday in the gulf. God really has a creative mind. We're camping at Fort Pickens and cooking out steaks and................ The diet starts when we get home monday... yeah right.

Dino is it hot enough in Pensacola for you? I'm in Dade City, near Tampa and about to melt.

Yeah Monica, I'm starting it tomorrow. If I got on the scales right now, the led's would read out "one at a time please!" Two nights ago we found a fresh fish store and bought 3 lbs of shrimp and those white round things. Then we grilled them on the rack with a special mesquite sauce on a bed of hickory chips. OH MY!! Taste and see the Lord is good!! Well our camping isn't totally primitive. We did have a A/C in the back door of our tent. At night the temps were about 75. I slept great except for drinking too much water before bed. Those crazy water pills really work fast Wink
Our temps were really good. The highs were in the low to mid 90's. And of course the wind is constant out on Fort Pickens Is.
