I'm guessing this didn't help their cause.

what a total shame. We have repealed the helmet law in AR, but there's been talk about it changing back. I wear a helmet 99% of the time. But it's nice to have the choice.

Bingo right there. It's a choice, or at least it should be.

My question is, why do I have to wear a seat belt, but not a helmet. I wear both, but I think I should have a choice.

Yeah, seatbelt laws are a serious contradiction to having no helmet requirement. But, hey, I'm not arguing. Just glad I have a choice about helmets.

Glad I have the choice also. I'm just the opposite of Dino, 99% of the time I'm without. Unless of course I'm in a helmet law state. Don't want the ticket.

I am alive today because of having a helmet on when I was about 10 years old. The helmet had gashes and pits from the asphalt.
