Hurt feelings.

Post by trip on July 25th 2011, 7:22 pm

Coming home from Daytona last Mon. and a rock hit the windshield of the Challanger. Started out as a little star now it has ran across the middle. New one on order. Thank goodness for insurance. That thing is expensive.

thats not hard to beleave , one time we were coming back from fl , pulling doubles , our 5th wheel and the bike trailor , and that bike trailor come un hooked just befor the bridge in kentuck on 65 north , there were no shoulders , just a bike lane , some car come by me and waved for me to stop , said my trailor was unhooked , i did'nt even know it , so we had to stop in the right handlane just beyond a curve , i did'nt want to cross the iron bridge , i thought the touge mite get caught in the grating , dam that was a mistake , it was rush hour and all hell broke lose , people come flying by us throwing pop jugs , coffee cups , yelling bloody murder cause i was blocking the lane , wife and i jumped over the cement barrier to keep from getting killed , i called 911 , and they sent some 1 out with a arrow sign truck and blocked the traffic , and then leo came and shut the other lane down , so the sign truck could hook onto my bike trailor and pulled it across the bridge and we followed him with our truck and the 5th wheel , and then he took me to a parts place so i could buy a new ball and got us going again , so its not hard to beleave how fast people drive down there , i had to run 75 just to stay out of the way , they were all going 80 plus , speed is number 1 down in the land of dixie , affraid affraid ARK
