tractor is fixed

Post by actionpack on September 11th 2011, 8:44 pm

took plow off and made a new scraper blade for the bottom , went to shoot some grease on my non greaseable u-joints , i drilled a hole on each bushing caps so i could get some grease to them , but they were just about wore out when i checked them , already replaced this whole shalf about 10 yrs ago at a cost of 250 bucks , did'nt want to spend the money on the same thing again , so i went to a tractor parts place and they had enought stuff for me to change out the front 1 , 2 yokes and a u-joint , so i cut the old yoke off the shalf , and welded the new greaseable 1 on , so i got my old mule back on the road again , DH2 ARK

Good Idea Bill. Almost everything today is made 'disposable' so you have to buy again and again. You're really messing up Mich's economy Wink They want you to spend more money. this throw away system we have in place today , sucks big time , i got to replace another throw away peice of crap tomarrow , my power window relulator on our pickup , the freeking cable broke , what the heck happened to the sissors that use to push the window up and down , or what happened to some stainless steel cable in there , Bang Bang Bang DH2
