my girls adventures

Post by shuterbg on September 18th 2011, 6:46 pm

So my older daughter just graduated high school and was thinking about moving to California to help a friend with her kids. She had to get permission to take the kids out of the state and that took awhile. So she started working full time at her job and got a new car. Thursday she started her first day of work where I work. I was going to be training her to help us. She was filling out her paper work and she got the call that everything is a go to move to California. She will basically be a nanny part time and get room and board. She will transfer down to a store down there. The kicker is the gal wants to head down by Tuesday. Shocked That doesn't give us much time to get her all packed. So she will be starting out on a new adventure down in the hot weather, Very hot weather.

Jessica is my 14yo. She wants to go into forensics. She is in the explorer program with her older sister with the police department by us. so she went on a ride a long last night. They pull over a 19yo guy with a suspended license. He lives in our area. they put him in the back seat and Jessica is in the front seat. He was trying to talk to her and finally got her attention. He says "sup". They talk for a few then he tells her she is hot. She says to him, "that just got awkward cuz I am only 14". He tells her she doesn't look 14 and to forget what he said. So who tries to pick up a girl in a police car ????? Shocked REALLY???
Around 7:30pm they get a call go to do a wellness check at a senior complex. They walk in the door and the guy is on the couch. The officer she is with goes over and checks his pulse and yep he is dead. So she got to see her first dead person. They think he had been dead about 3 days. She said it didn't smell as bad as she thought. Now had it been last week when we had temps in the 80's it would have smelled worse. They were there about 3 hours dealing with it.

Thank you everyone. We sure do keep busy.
Tasha is supposed to be moving to the Palm Desert area. The gal got the permission then her soon to be ex got a court order to stop it once again. so now there is another hearing on Oct 6th. Please pray that the God moves the hands of the new judge. Her soon to be ex has such a devil spirit and its time for a win on God's side. So now the move has been postponed. We need this to go through and her to be free to take her kids before winter sets in. There is a really bad pass that they will need to go over to get down there and we don't want them driving in the winter and snow.
